Welcome to ICE-CAP
ICE-CAP is a regional chapter of ICE
serving "Chicago Area Professionals"

ICE is the Illinois affiliate of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), an organization responsible for setting technology standards for educators and students.

The ICE-CAP Board is planning our bi-monthly meetings for 2009-10. We welcome your location suggestions, such as your school or office! Our first meeting was October 8, 2009 featuring Arshele Stevens, the new CPS CIO, to start off our new year of technology professional development! ICE offers many opportunities for professional development presentations, workshop series (including summer), and conferences. Below, CPS CIO (Chief Information Officer) Mr. Robert Runcie addresses ICE-CAP at our September 30, 2008 meeting at CPS' Elizabeth Training Facility. Mr. Runcie has presented at our opening September meeting six years in a row as CIO, starting in 2003.
